Roger Symons

Born and raised in Kenya, followed by farming in Australia, Roger Symons developed a love and appreciation of nature, which included trees and wood. This led him into woodturning.

Largely self taught Roger developed a style of his own and has put together a collection of giftware using primarily woods which are unique to Western Australia, such as jarrah, sheoak, marri and karri.

Living now in Denmark, Western Australia, among the most beautiful trees gives Roger plenty of inspiration to work with timber.
