Kings Park Volunteer Guides
A handy, lightweight, botanical field guide to accompany your walk in Kings Park.
The Kings Park bushland is an extensive remnant of the natural vegetation of the Perth area. The bushland occupies almost 270 hectares and contains around 350 native plant species, including many representatives of Western Australia's rich wildflower diversity.
This booklet contains images of around 100 of the bushland's most colourful and striking plants that can be found along the tracks and paths. Plants are grouped by flower colour, with trees, orchids and interesting leaves shown separately. Common, Noongar and botanical names, and the main flowering periods are included.
