Bush Rose Seeds
Bush Rose
Botanic name : Eucalyptus macrocarpa
Also known as: mottlecah.
This unusual small tree is the largest flowered eucalypt. Its large spectacular flowers often measure 10cm (4″) across, appearing from late winter to early summer, emerge from large and unusual buds of silver-green to display a thick mass of bright red stamens with gold tips, eventually producing attractive silver-grey to brown seed vessels among the highly unusual silver green leaves which are closely arranged along the straggling stems.
An outstanding ornamental shrub with its straggling open-branching shape which grows to 2.5m (8′) or sometimes larger. It has a long flowering period and produces lots of nectar to bring birds into the garden.
