About the Authors:
Louise Olsen and Stephen Ormandy met while studying at City Art Institute in Sydney (now the COFA, New South Wales) in the early 80s. Today, they are joint creative directors of iconic jewellery and homewares company Dinosaur Designs, renowned the world over for its sculptural resin forms and unique aesthetic. The business employs 85 people, has a studio in Surry Hills and operates nine stores in cities around the world including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, New York and London. Louise Olsen is the daughter of well-known artists John Olsen and Valerie Strong, and Stephen Ormandy is also an artist in his own right.
