Estelle Dean

Estelle is a Perth, Western Australian based Visual Artist, currently sharing her time in the United Kingdom. Her interest lies primarily in glass art forms. Estelle obtained a Bachelor of Art (Honours) at Curtin University of Technology. Estelle was Artist in Residence in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 2007-2010. Her work can be seen in private collections in Australia, USA, Malaysia, Holland, UAE, Japan, Singapore and England. Estelle has been represented in many groups shows both in Australia, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Malaysia.

The glassworks are influenced by cultural activity and natural phenomena. Estelle works in many areas of glass; Pâte de Verre, casting, kiln forming and with the occasional glass blowing and hot glass techniques. She continues to explore and experiment extensively with glass and other materials.
